About The Position

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. The position requires demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. The role is part of the Heart Failure Integrated Practice Unit, which supports a nationally recognized heart failure program focused on clinical excellence, innovation, patient-centered care, education, individualized transition planning, and long-term disease management.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• One year of patient care experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program preferred.
