Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a school of practical nursing OR Completion of one of the following: A Certified PCA/PCT Program, A Certified Nurse Assistant Program or equivalent training, A Medical Assistant Program, An EMT program, A phlebotomy training program.
• At least 2 years of work experience as a patient care associate / tech (must be inpatient setting).

Nice To Haves

• Six (6) months direct patient care experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients.
• Technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities.
• Transporting patients, specimens and/or supplies.
• Report all deviations from expected patient parameters to the registered nurse.
