About The Position

Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking full-time and part-time Patient Care Technicians. Day and night shift positions are available. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation, 24-hour nursing care, and coordinated interdisciplinary treatment for patients recovering from serious illness, injury, surgery, and other complex medical conditions. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, the Patient Care Technician is primarily responsible for providing direct bedside care to patients. The role supports the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles in daily practice. Requirements

Experience as a CNA or Patient Care Technician is required.
Current CPR certification is required.
Demonstrate knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
Demonstrate awareness of current infection control requirements and practices.
Demonstrate clinical proficiency using policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Use supplies and equipment appropriately.
Have general computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
Have effective organizational and time management skills.
Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Maintain confidentiality.
Work closely and professionally with others.
Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification preferred; a CNA license is required in Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming, and in South Carolina only if beds are licensed as a skilled nursing unit.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
STNA preferred in Ohio.

Responsibilities
