At Cleveland Clinic, our Cardiovascular Telemetry Units (J51, J53, J61, J62, and J63) care for some of the most complex cardiac patients in the world. These 24-bed specialty units provide expert care for patients recovering from advanced cardiovascular procedures, including open-heart surgery, minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery, valve repair and replacement, ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation, and other highly specialized interventions. As part of a world-renowned heart and vascular program, nurses are immersed in innovative therapies and leading-edge technologies that shape the future of cardiovascular care. The Cardiovascular Telemetry Units offer a dynamic, fast-paced environment that fosters professional growth, clinical excellence, and career advancement. Nurses develop advanced assessment and critical thinking skills while caring for a diverse patient population recovering from coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), maze procedures, endarterectomies, aneurysm repairs, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
