About The Position
Join our growing pediatric dental team in the Carolinas, where your work directly impacts the patient experience and the success of the practice. As a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), you’re the connection between our families and clinical team. You’ll help keep the day running smoothly through scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, and treatment coordination—all while creating a calm, positive experience for every family. You’ll receive hands-on onboarding and ongoing support from our Regional PCC Trainer, giving you the tools and confidence to succeed. We’re looking for a Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator at Blakeney Pediatric Dentistry. If you’re organized, compassionate, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to meet you!
Requirements
- Previous front desk or Patient Care Coordinator experience in a dental office
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with staff, leadership, and patient families
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients and families upon arrival
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Communicate with families through phone, email, and text
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Verify insurance and assist with billing processes
- Present and review dental treatment plans with families
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Partner with Dental Assistants and Providers to support efficient patient flow
- Provide administrative support to the clinical team
- Maintain scheduling and performance goals
- Complete daily KPI reporting
- Deliver a welcoming and positive experience from the first phone call through checkout
