About The Position

Valor Wellness is a premier health and wellness clinic offering specialized weight loss solutions, med spa services, and personalized wellness treatments. Our team is dedicated to empowering patients through comprehensive, compassionate care designed to enhance both physical health and personal confidence. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Patient Coordinator to join our growing online pharmacy team. The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients, assisting with onboarding, prescription coordination, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and ongoing support throughout the patient experience. This role plays a vital part in ensuring exceptional service, smooth communication, and efficient coordination between patients, providers, and pharmacy staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, EMRs, and online communication tools
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare, pharmacy, medical office, telehealth, or customer service preferred
  • Insurance verification and prior authorization experience
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

  • Experience working in an online pharmacy or telemedicine environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for patients via phone, email, text, and online platforms
  • Assist patients with onboarding and account setup
  • Coordinate prescription intake, refill requests, and order status updates
  • Verify patient information, insurance eligibility, and required documentation
  • Schedule consultations and follow-up appointments with providers as needed
  • Educate patients on pharmacy processes, medications, and next steps within scope
  • Communicate with healthcare providers regarding prescription clarifications or missing information
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Resolve patient concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Support retention efforts by providing excellent patient care and follow-up communication
  • Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, and customer service teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
  • Assist with additional clinic-related duties; including but not limited to supporting events and helping with general operations when necessary
