About The Position

The Patient Care Coordinator assists the Audiologist with testing and interpretation. They also work closely with the patients to ensure their first impression at our center exceeds expectations. They are responsible for assisting patients through their hearing loss treatment journey, including providing orientation on the use of a hearing aids, servicing, and basic troubleshooting of hearing aids. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
Collaborate and accept direction.
Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
Think critically.
Manage multiple assignments effectively.
Organize and prioritize workload.
Work well under pressure and deadlines.

Recall information with accuracy.

Work independently.
Basic Life Support (BLS).

Patient care coordination experience.
College Level Courses or Certifications in healthcare.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
