About The Position

American Hearing Care is seeking a Temporary Front Office / Patient Care Coordinator to support our Florence, Alabama clinic. The assignment is expected to last from June 29, 2026, to approximately August 19, 2026. This role is the first point of contact for patients, crucial for a positive patient experience. The position provides professional administrative support and ensures the efficient day-to-day operation of the clinic's front office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry

Nice To Haves

  • Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or healthcare office experience preferred
  • Experience working in a medical office, healthcare setting, or other customer-facing environment is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet and assist patients and visitors upon arrival
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Enter and maintain patient information into the system
  • Assist with general front office and administrative duties
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
  • Support clinic staff with daily operational needs as assigned
