About The Position
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) - Supervisor will join the Nursing Administration Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. This role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients within nursing units. The PCC ensures continuity of care between shifts by providing direct care and supervising nursing assistants, LPNs, and supportive staff. This position also participates in patient and family teaching and acts as a patient advocate, upholding the organization's mission.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
- Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
- Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous management/supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
Responsibilities
