About The Position

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth offers personalized care designed to empower individuals to reach their potential, with services ranging from ABA therapy and mental health services to TMS for depression, speech therapy, learning disability support, and medication management. We serve children, teens, adults, and families across Utah, with centers in Logan, Bountiful, Layton, Ogden, West Jordan, and Salt Lake City. Our team includes Therapists, Psychologists, Registered Behavior Technicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Nurse Practitioners, and psychiatrists focused on behavioral health. Experience as a front desk team member or other similar patient-facing customer service role.
Familiarity with or interest in learning administrative procedures, particularly in a mental health setting.
Compassionate and empathetic approach, dedicated to providing exceptional support to patients undergoing mental health treatments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for creating meaningful patient relationships.
Ability to work closely with providers, offering and receiving support, and striving for mutual growth and development.
Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and supportive medical team environment.

Responsibilities

Daily office attendance, serving as the welcoming face of our clinic.
Facilitating patient check-ins, collecting copays, updating patient demographics and contributing to the smooth functioning of the office on a day-to-day basis.
Communicate with providers and clients in a timely professional manner.
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Multi-tasking is a must. We often have several tasks to complete while also making sure that calls are getting answered and clients' needs are met.
Managing patient check-outs and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Promptly addressing patient inquiries and messages via phone call, e-mail, text message, and electronic health record.
