About The Position

Under the direction of an RN or LPN, the Patient Care Associate assists with individualized patient care to help patients achieve their highest level of wellness. The associate works cooperatively with others as part of a team, recognizes the importance of group goals, performs designated clinical procedures, and completes non-clinical support tasks essential to patient care. This is a part-time, night-shift position at Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd ICU, scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC, enrollment in a healthcare career program through a high school curriculum, or eligibility to participate in Mercy's UAP training program (age 18 or older); current Mercy co-workers are also eligible.
• No prior experience is required.
• If the candidate has no previous experience, complete Mercy's required 175-hour training program within 90 days of hire to remain in the PCA position, in accordance with state guidelines.
