Patient Care Associate/NA | Adult Health Care
About The Position
As a Patient Care Associate/Nursing Assistant at Rice Memorial Hospital, you will provide an array of medical services to care for patients. Duties include monitoring vital signs and glucose levels, transporting patients to appointments and procedures, assisting with activities of daily living, and performing additional duties as requested. The position is scheduled for 48 hours every two weeks, with rotating day, evening, and night shifts consisting of 8-hour shifts. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Starting pay is $19.08 per hour, with the exact wage determined by years of related experience. The pay range is $19.08–$25.30 per hour, with extra pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
