About The Position
As a Patient Care Associate/Nursing Assistant at Rice Memorial Hospital, you will provide a range of medical services to care for patients. Duties include monitoring vital signs and glucose, transporting patients to appointments and procedures, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, brushing teeth, and toileting. Additional duties may be requested. The schedule is 72 hours every two weeks, with rotating 8-hour day, evening, and night shifts. The schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Starting pay is $19.08 per hour, with the exact wage determined by years of related experience. The stated pay range is $19.08–$25.30 per hour, with extra pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
