About The Position
HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to provide nursing support on its med/surg unit in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role suits patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers who want to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is 36 hours per week on the PM shift, with every other weekend required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- One year of nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; alternatively, six months of such experience plus the certification specified below.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification in the state of practice is required for candidates with six months of experience. Certification is not required for candidates with more than one year of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
