About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to provide nursing support on its med/surg unit in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The role is suited to patient-focused, mission-driven caregivers who want to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is 36 hours per week on the night shift, with every other weekend required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience, or at least 6 months of that experience with the required certification.
• A state-of-practice Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification is required for candidates with 6 months of experience; certification is not required for candidates with more than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
