About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join the MedSurg Department at their Bucyrus location. The PCA will provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care and comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work-related experience working as a nursing assistant.
- Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN.
