Join our paid PCA Trainee Program on June 8th, 2026. Interviews will be held onsite on April 30th 11:30 to 3:30pm. Paid Training Program begins: Monday June 8th 2026 Must be able to commit to the entire duration of the training program without scheduling conflicts Must be seeking 24 hours or more The training program is paid, no childcare provided

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician [National Certification] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Experience working in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong patient/customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Proficient in computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in activities of daily living (personal hygiene/grooming, bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, turning/repositioning, sanitizing areas and equipment, etc.)
  • Ensure a safe and compassionate environment for patients
  • Document aspects of care on approved forms/electronic medical records
  • Obtain and record vital signs
  • Collect specimen
  • Respond to patient and family requests
  • Assist with equipment preparation
  • Support an efficient operation of the unit, and remotely monitor the safety of multiple patients at a time, utilizing a continuous virtual monitoring system
