About The Position

The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. Incumbents perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient. Helping patients achieve each and every milestone on their road to recovery. The 62 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides acute inpatient medical rehabilitation services to patients with functional impairments as a result of various diagnoses including, stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, multiple traumas, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and other disabling conditions. Requirements

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
