About The Position

The Patient Care Aide works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The role involves providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The aide must be able to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, organize and set priorities, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• Proof of completion of a Nursing Assistant (CNA) class from a state-approved program.
• BLS certification is required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
• Ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
• Ability to organize, set priorities, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Active certification preferred, including Certified Medical Assistant certification.
