About The Position

North Shore Health is hiring a Patient Account Representative. The position can be PT or FT and offers flexibility in your schedule. No evenings or weekends are required. The PAR duties will include posting of electronic/cash payments to patient accounts and balancing with deposits, billing care center accounts and assisting families with questions, collection of patient accounts over 120 days and assisting applicants who apply for financial assistance.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Experience in an office support setting
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to details
• Excellent math skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Confidentiality is a must

Nice To Haves

• Ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel and Word

Responsibilities
