Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Patient Access Technician for our Sports Performance Institute who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Patient Access Technician, you will facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means. You will also answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language. Additionally, you will assist therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed, and maintain the department's cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies. You will participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
