The Patient Access Team Leader supervises Patient Access Representatives (PAR) and is responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a Patient Access Representative/Specialist or equivalent experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great attendance and overall reliability
  • Excellent understanding of AIDET and service excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service by enduring customer service standards are consistently met
  • Monitors direct reports KPIs to ensure they are meeting the daily, weekly, monthly metric requirements
  • Coach and develop PARs on daily basis and complete monthly performance reviews
  • Attend meetings, as needed, with other departments and sites to review and discuss new processes or trainings.
  • Able to work evenings (up to 7 pm) and weekends (9 am to 2 pm) as needed
  • Answers telephone inquiries, schedules appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and updates patient information in CPS
