Patient Access Team Leader (Hybrid)

The Patient Access Team Leader supervises Patient Access Representatives (PAR) and is responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a Patient Access Representative/Specialist or equivalent experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Great attendance and overall reliability
- Excellent understanding of AIDET and service excellence
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service by enduring customer service standards are consistently met
- Monitors direct reports KPIs to ensure they are meeting the daily, weekly, monthly metric requirements
- Coach and develop PARs on daily basis and complete monthly performance reviews
- Attend meetings, as needed, with other departments and sites to review and discuss new processes or trainings.
- Able to work evenings (up to 7 pm) and weekends (9 am to 2 pm) as needed
- Answers telephone inquiries, schedules appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and updates patient information in CPS
