About The Position

The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for collecting and verifying key data elements in the patient record to ensure financial readiness prior to services rendered. Works to minimize denials, improve upfront financial clearance, and ensure data integrity across systems. The Patient Access Specialist demonstrates strong knowledge of patient registration, insurance eligibility and benefits, along with excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer service abilities. This position supports organizational goals by enhancing patient experience, ensuring compliance, and maximizing reimbursement.
