About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Patient Access Specialist 1 in Greenville, South Carolina. Crossroads provides outpatient, office-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for people with opioid use disorder and works to make evidence-based treatment more accessible. The Patient Access Specialist helps patients connect with appropriate clinics and services through responsive communication, scheduling, and customer support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, or a call center preferred.
• Lived experience with addiction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming and returning calls.
• Respond quickly to patient inquiries.
• Schedule and reschedule patients at the appropriate clinic using various EMR systems.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Answer basic patient questions and provide program-specific information as required.
• Assist with other duties as directed.
