About The Position

Overlake Clinics, LLC (OC) is seeking a full-time Patient Access Scheduling Coordinator for our outpatient Call Center. In this position, you will be responsible for facilitating incoming communications for Overlake Medical Clinics to support our primary care and specialty clinics, including Cardiology, Rehabilitation, Pelvic Health, and Anticoagulation. You will schedule routine and complex primary care and specialty appointments, while performing full patient registration at the time of the call. You will also answer routine insurance questions, and obtain and verify insurance eligibility. Work will be performed collaboratively with the back office teams through our messaging system and via phone call, to ensure patient needs are relayed in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year customer service experience required.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service disposition required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years experience working in a high-volume call center environment preferred.
  • Healthcare background preferred.
