About The Position

Serves as initial contact for Cardiology Department, is responsible for registering and pre-registering patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility at time of registration, verifies patient demographics and accurately inputs this information in the registration application. Performs point of service activities, collecting copayments and self-pay payments.

• Experience in patient registration.
• Experience with insurance verification and eligibility checks.
• Proficiency in data entry and registration applications.
• Experience with point of service payment collection.
