About The Position

We’re seeking a Patient Access Representative to support a busy outpatient practice. This role is ideal for someone who delivers excellent patient service and thrives in a fast-paced front-desk environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service
  • Must have insurance verification experience
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload in a busy practice
  • Strong computer proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Patient greeting with eye contact, a smile, and a positive tone
  • Guide new patients through paperwork and answer questions
  • Patient registration and demographic updates
  • Insurance verification and authorizations
  • Collect co-pays and process payments
  • Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
