This is a full-time position with an evening shift, working 64 hours per pay period from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM, including every other weekend and holidays as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). This role offers a great opportunity for a Patient Access Representative professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The position is in an outpatient or urgent care setting where the representative will greet patients and family members, obtain and verify demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information for patient registration. Responsibilities include entering patient/guarantor data into the patient accounting system, collecting signatures, and scanning registration documents. The role also involves obtaining and processing physician orders, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, collecting patient liabilities, and referring cases to financial counseling. The Patient Access Representative will enhance the patient experience through face-to-face interactions and may provide escort and directional support.
