This is a full-time night position for a Patient Access Representative. The role involves greeting patients, verifying information, answering calls, registering patients, collecting co-pays, processing returned mail, and acting as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the care team. The representative will also participate in interdepartmental improvements, act as an internal consultant, ensure compliance with policies, report abuse, coordinate insurance and pre-authorization activities, prioritize workload, assist in new employee orientation, and be proficient in both outpatient and Emergency Departments. Cross-training in other departments and educating patients on financial assistance may also be required. The position requires demonstrating commitment to organizational values, maintaining positive working relationships, adhering to dress code, exhibiting initiative, completing required education and training, maintaining patient confidentiality, reporting to work punctually, contributing to performance improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and following infection control, safety, and risk management procedures.
