The Patient Access Representative Senior will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary information is accurately collected and recorded. They will provide a positive patient experience while obtaining the information necessary to facilitate patient care and billing processes. This role also involves supporting onboarding efforts of junior staff by mentoring, being a go-to for day-to-day questions, and training. The Patient Access Representative Senior will train and mentor patient access representatives and serve as a go-to for day-to-day questions. They will greet patients and provide them with exceptional customer service and support. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, pre-registering patients, and processing patient information accurately and efficiently. Additionally, they will respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information about healthcare services and insurance coverage. Ensuring that all patient information is kept confidential and secure, in accordance with HIPAA regulations, and staying up to date on healthcare regulations and policies and applying them in daily operations are also key aspects of this role.
