This position supports laboratory registration, including registering specimens within the laboratory and assisting at the Lab Patient Service Center. As a Patient Access Coordinator II, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. Our Patient Access team is the first point of contact for patients entering our hospital, setting the tone for a positive and supportive experience. We are committed to delivering exceptional service with compassion, accuracy, and efficiency. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth registration and intake process for every patient we serve. Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses – Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.
