About The Position
Responsible for the supervision of Histopathology staff and work processes of assigned area of Histopathology and for the initial examination and dissection of surgical specimens and dissection of bodies during post-mortem examination. Assists with research and instruction of Pathology interns/residents.
Requirements
- Two (2) years experience as a Pathologist Assistant
- Pathologists' Assistant Masters' Program
- Canadian Association of Pathologists certification
- American Society for Clinical Pathology certification
- Analytical skills
- Organizational skills
- Intermediate - Computer skills
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Certification with the American Society for Clinical Pathology
- Certification with Canadian Association of Pathologists
