Requirements

  • Pathologists' Assistant Masters' Program
  • Canadian Association of Pathologists
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license, where required

Nice To Haves

  • May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
  • Certification with Canadian Association of Pathologists and/or
  • Certification with the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the initial examination and dissection of surgical specimens and dissection of bodies during post-mortem examination.
  • Assists with research and instruction of Pathology interns/residents.
