JOB SUMMARY The Pathologist is responsible for accurately and timely diagnosing specimens through the evaluation of laboratory tests, tissue samples, and other diagnostic procedures. This role ensures high-quality patient care by providing expert interpretation of histological, cytological, and molecular pathology findings. The Pathologist collaborates with laboratory personnel, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to guide treatment decisions and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Under CLIA regulations (42 CFR Part 493), pathologists must meet high-complexity laboratory director qualifications, which include board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology and an active medical license.
