About The Position

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Pathologist to provide comprehensive anatomic services and expert clinical consultation across our medical and surgical subspecialties. This is an open rank position. Placement will be based on Academic Rank eligibility with UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.

Requirements

MD Degree.
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Pathology.
Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's.
Faculty appointment at the University of Washington.
Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington.
Meets the Academic Rank eligibility requirements for Assistant Professor in the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
Meets the Academic Rank eligibility requirements for Associate Professor in the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.

Nice To Haves

At least three (3) years clinical experience in Pediatric Pathology.
