About The Position
Troutman Pepper Locke is seeking a Patent Agent with three to five years of experience to join its Intellectual Property Practice Group, resident in its Stamford, Connecticut office. The role focuses on patent preparation, prosecution, and portfolio development for clients in medical technologies, medical devices, and aerospace systems. The Patent Agent will collaborate closely with partners and other members of the intellectual property team. The salary range is $135,000–$190,000, dependent on relevant years of experience. Requirements
- Three to five years of experience.
- Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Some independent patent prosecution experience.
- Registration to practice before the USPTO is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound technical judgment.

- Intellectual curiosity, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
