Intellectual Property Litigation (Patent) Associate
About The Position
O’Melveny’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice group is seeking outstanding junior- to mid-level patent litigation lawyers. Candidates should have experience before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Preferred educational backgrounds include undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or an equivalent field. An advanced degree or industry experience is a plus. Patent Bar membership is preferred but not required. The salary range in Los Angeles is $225,000–$365,000. The stated range is the firm’s good-faith minimum and maximum for the role at the time of posting; actual compensation depends on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
Requirements
- Experience litigating patent matters before U.S. district courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, or the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Nice To Haves
