About The Position

The Pastry Cook plays a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by creating beautiful, consistent and high-quality desserts while supporting seamless kitchen operations and upholding Heritage’s culinary standards.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months to one (1) year of pastry, baking or culinary experience.
  • Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods and dessert preparation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation.
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake and present signature pastries, desserts, breads and specialty confections.
  • Maintain pastry stations, equipment and ingredient organization.
  • Follow recipes, portioning, presentation and food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to support service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor product quality, freshness and presentation throughout service.
