About The Position

Mama Shelter is seeking a creative and passionate Pastry Chef to join their team. This role involves contributing to the setup of pastry dishes, ensuring quality of service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and managing food storage. The Pastry Chef will also be responsible for supply checks, reporting to the Executive Chef, managing the pastry team, and adhering to hygiene standards. Requirements

Passionate and creative with an opinion on taste and texture.
Organized and able to handle pressure.
Ability to follow recipes precisely regarding quantity, presentation, and appreciation.
Skill in translating recipes into technical sheets.
Ability to identify and develop talent.
Act as a driving force, motivating and uniting the brigade.
Ability to mobilize necessary resources (Human, Financial & Administrative).
Versatile and thoroughly familiar with all roles in the kitchen.
Available and attentive.
Natural authority with a kind disposition.

Responsibilities

Take part in setting up the pastry dishes (desserts and sweet breaks).
Respect Mama's values in pastry creation.
Be responsible for the quality of service.
Ensure tidying and cleaning in the kitchen.
Manage food storage.
Check and ensure that supplies are in order.
Keep the Executive Chef informed of activity and assist with all aspects of pastry-making.
Manage and supervise the team of pastry chefs.
Comply with hygiene standards.
Ensure that equipment is used correctly.
