About The Position

The Fusion Church Pastoral Residency (FCPR) exists to raise up the next generation of leaders in the New Testament church. This program aims to provide professional experience, formal theological training, and contextual understanding of ministry life in a gracious, intentional environment. The goal is to equip qualified men to serve the Bride of Christ both within and outside of Fusion Church. Fusion Church's mission is to “Reach the Seeker, Strengthen the Servant, and Launch the Saint.” Through this residency, the church aims to reach those seeking full-time ministry, strengthen them through education and training, and launch them into the world to shepherd God’s people. This opportunity is designed for those passionate for the Word of God and eager to utilize their spiritual gifts in service to the local church. Fusion Church of Madison is committed to making disciples in local communities and abroad, with core values of God Dependency, Real Relationships, Generous Living, Family Focus, and Kingdom Expansion. The program is designed to reduplicate this DNA in residents. Ideal residents will have an undergraduate education and be considering formal seminary training. The program can be tailored to fit the resident’s discerned calling in ministry.

Responsibilities

Support raising of ~$24k/year (training will be provided prior to start of residency; $5,000 will be contributed by Fusion Church)
Serve alongside the pastoral staff in a particular ministry (e.g., Student Ministry, Kids Ministry, Senior Adult Ministry, Executive/Administrative Ministry, Church Planting)
Hands-on involvement in ministry affinity
