About The Position
The CPE Intern summer program is a minimum 8 hour-per-day responsibility, with the timeframe being from late May through the first week of August. The intern will participate in an in-house, twenty-four-hour-a-day on-call rotation as a duty chaplain. The CPE Intern is to engage in CPE training in a manner that increases their ministry formation, and pastoral identity and skills. Learning and ministry is done in an age-appropriate manner with sensitivity to gender, culture, and faith orientation.
Requirements
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
- Complete both the Hillcrest application "Apply Online", and the Intern specific application.
- Additional admission requirements listed on the CPE Intern specific application must be sent directly to the Pastoral Care department/CPE program.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Graduate level theological education preferred.
