About The Position

For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been dedicated to the continued healing mission of Jesus Christ by providing a continuum of care and supportive services to adults, their families and their caregivers. We are seeking to hire a Pastoral Care Associate.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and principles, spiritual and sacramental practices within the Roman Catholic tradition, as well as other Christian denominations and faith traditions.
Knowledge of certifying and regulating agencies’ rules and regulations of CBRF facilities and the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
Knowledge of clinical, social, psychological needs, and ability to address spiritual needs of residents.
Practicing Catholic in good standing with a letter from their parish Pastor.
Strong communication skills and ability to build peer relationships.
Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and create spiritual care plan.

Nice To Haves

Graduate or accredited theological courses preferred.
1 to 2 years’ experience in pastoral care in a health-related ministry preferred.
Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by NACC or ACPE preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct the delivery of a complete pastoral care program to residents, their loved ones, and staff of all faith traditions.
Assess the education and training needs related to areas of pastoral support for elderly.
Extend education and training opportunities to residents and their families, caregivers, staff, and community members.
Coordinate service and ensure Chapel maintenance.
Coordinate activities with other staff members.
