About The Position

Technicians at ACT support the development of thermal products from prototypes to flight hardware. This role involves practical design support, machining, system assembly, and testing of prototype and flight hardware. Technicians collaborate closely with engineers, other technicians, quality control technicians, and other team members to develop and test hardware for the aerospace industry.

Requirements

Must be a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15? (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR restrictions.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing and testing
Certificate from a technical school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience
Experience operating hand tools (drills, drivers, etc.) and basic shop tools (saws, drill press, etc.)
Basic Electrical experience in AC and DC circuits
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation (e.g., Work instructions)
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office product package (Word, Excel)
Strong organizational & time management skills
Problem solving ability
Good communication skills
Dedication to following established procedures for complicated processes
Ability to work independently but also be open to team collaboration

Responsibilities

Fabrication and testing of prototype hardware/assemblies
Supporting generation and development of work instructions/procedures
Maintaining a Safety-First work environment
Following common engineering planning & execution documentation (e.g. Travelers, work instructions, procedures, ...)
Maintaining documentation through manufacturing and flow to preserve product pedigree
Working cohesively with a diverse group of engineers and technicians
Maintaining high quality of work and product
