PASRR Direct Support Worker (KRCC – Perry County)
About The Position
The PASRR Direct Support Worker will be responsible for working with PASRR clients in nursing facilities to achieve their goals. This role involves providing personal assistance for doctor visits, community outings, and events as needed by the client. The position requires data entry into the system, effective time management, and attendance at training sessions and plan of care meetings and reviews. Travel to various counties to provide services is also a key function, with transportation provided by the agency. The role demands the ability to offer nurturing attention and care to individuals with disabilities in a nursing facility setting and to complete goals outlined in the Plan of Care. Effective communication with staff, clients, and supervisors is essential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Computer Skills (Word)
- Ability to provide nurturing attention and care to individuals with disabilities in a nursing facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and supervisors.

- Some college a plus.
