We focus on STEM + ART = STEAM programs, to provide unique opportunities to our customers. At our studios, we offer DiY Walk In session, Private Parties, Painting Workshops, Art Classes, Corporate Events and Camps. We are looking for vibrant, self-motivated, outgoing and creative candidates. This is a Fri - Sat- Sun position only - Open availability on these days is highly preferred. For this role, the candidate must be outgoing, comfortable speaking to small and large groups and able to lead activities for different age groups. The position is perfect for High School and College Students. This position offers very good Tips in addition to the regular pay. We are looking for creative individuals to lead planned creative sessions at our flagship studio. As a Studio Helper at Créatif you will be responsible for interacting and communicating effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds and helping run an event, painting session from start to finish and assist walk in customers.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift
Successful candidate will need a reliable source of transportation
Flexible schedule with availability during weekdays and weekends
Experience working in a kid friendly environment
Knowledge of Principles and practices of job site safety, potential job hazards, and state and local regulations
Knowledge of Basic computer programs
Skill and / or Ability to Use computers and technology capabilities
Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge in area(s) of expertise
Communicate well both verbally and in writing; listen to and understand various viewpoints; share relevant information timely; provide constructive feedback; maintain professionalism.
Effectively and productively engage with others and establish trust, credibility, and confidence
Promote collaboration and assist others with their initiatives and efforts
Consistently build knowledge and expertise about current job
Listen to and build customer relationships; increase customer satisfaction and ensure commitments are met

Nice To Haves

Experience in acrylic painting
Previous experience as an art instructor, teacher ….
High School (AP) / College level drawing
STEM experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

Be familiar with various art forms and have excellent artistic, research, and organizational skills
Promote a safe and positive environment during all sessions
Able to work independently with minimal oversight
Implement proper techniques for group and event management
Must be able to multi-task; be productive, focused, and flexible in a creative & sometimes chaotic environment
Provide clear instructions and guide the individual/group throughout the entire class/session.
Instruct participants on the safe and proper use of supplies and equipment.
Model positive and proactive attitude, demonstrate a pleasant and professional manner, maintain accurate attendance records and follow all reporting procedures
Ensure studio space and all equipment are left clean and orderly
Actively supervise and ensure participant safety at all times
Interact professionally and appropriately with participants, guardians and team members.
Comply with all studio policies and procedures.
Promote and cultivate positive personal interaction with patrons, party coordinators and management
Perform other duties as assigned.
