About The Position

HOLT CAT is hiring a Parts Warehouse Clerk 1 at its Waxahachie, Texas location. The role responds to customer needs in a positive, caring, timely manner and with a sense of urgency, while processing parts transactions and related warehouse activities accurately and efficiently. The employee works independently with specific direction or as part of a team and is expected to demonstrate alignment with the company’s mission and values, collaborate with internal and external resources, and participate in ongoing self-development. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position may require up to 10% travel, including travel between stores within the region for special projects or company needs, and may involve overnight stays. The role requires regular, punctual attendance and overtime as workload requires.

Requirements

Up to two years of warehouse experience.
Complete HOLT VBL and DiSC training.
Meet the requirements in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines, including order pulling, job-related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and applicable policies and procedures.
General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware.
Equipment operation and control skills, including selecting appropriate tools and equipment for a job.
Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, mechanical-repair equipment, an overhead crane, and a conventional forklift.
Ability to operate machine or vehicle controls quickly and repeatedly to exact positions.
Self-starting and self-motivated.
Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to read, write, understand information, and listen to and understand spoken information.
Ability to perform the physical requirements, including frequent lifting and moving of materials and equipment up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing, reaching, and using hands with good manual dexterity.
Ability to climb up and down ladders and equipment using both hands and feet.
Ability to communicate with customers, supervisors, managers, and coworkers and respond to visual, auditory, and other signals, alarms, and instructions.

Responsibilities

Model, promote, and reinforce HOLT’s Values Based Leadership tools, models, and processes in support of the company’s vision, values, and mission.
Work safely and follow applicable safety policies, company policies, procedures, and standards.
Follow contamination-control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
Keep company equipment, tools, work areas, the warehouse, the parts operations office, and outside yards clean, orderly, and in good working condition.
Accurately and promptly pull parts orders for external and internal customers.
Complete stock replenishment tasks accurately and promptly to maintain appropriate warehouse inventory; inventory performance is monitored through management observation, stock-order analysis, and physical inventories.
Develop sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs established through performance-review goal setting.
Complete internal parts orders, identify parts for return, and communicate job status to the supervisor as needed.
Learn to place third-party orders and receive orders through the CODA system.
Perform housekeeping duties while following contamination-control guidelines.
Work overtime as required by workload.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
