About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of Seattle, part of Swickard Auto Group, is hiring a Parts Support team member to support its dealership parts department in Seattle, Washington. The role focuses on accurately and quickly fulfilling technician parts requests, finding the correct Mercedes-Benz OEM parts, maintaining inventory, and keeping the service department informed about order issues. Candidates with dealership parts experience are preferred, while warehouse, logistics, retail inventory, and other detail-oriented backgrounds are also welcome. Paid brand and parts training is provided.

Requirements

• Automotive parts or dealership experience is preferred; candidates with warehouse, logistics, retail inventory, or other detail-driven backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Comfort using computer-based parts lookup and a DMS, or ability to learn them quickly.
• Accuracy when verifying part numbers before pulling parts.
• Clear communication and prompt reporting of delays.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz or European parts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and quickly fill technician parts requests by pulling, staging, and delivering parts to the correct service bay.
• Use electronic parts catalogs to look up Mercedes-Benz OEM part numbers and identify correct parts and supersessions.
• Promptly inform technicians and service advisors about backorders, substitutions, and delays.
• Process returns, cores, and warranty parts according to department procedures.
• Receive, bin, and organize incoming stock to maintain accurate inventory.
• Support the parts team with order preparation and deliveries to the service department.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS.
