About The Position

The Inventory Manager’s overall responsibility is to oversee the organization, ordering and stocking of over $400,000 in parts inventory and $200,000 in monthly purchases.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed
  • Suggest modifications to policies and procedures to Branch Manager and HR
  • Review previous day’s open items to include: Orders, Parts sales
  • Ensures support of machine shop with needed materials/assist in machining
  • Issues parts credits and restocks returned materials
  • Verifies mechanics work schedule to ensure parts/material availability
  • Locates within inventory difficult to find parts (rebuilt units)
  • Salvages reusable parts for scrap
  • Supports other RTS facilities
  • Weekly, reconciles invoices, miscellaneous purchase orders
  • As needed, conducts cycle counts
  • Two times per year, scraps AFA parts
  • Attends quarterly management budget review
  • Organized record keeping or some filing may be required.
  • Other duties may be assigned
