About The Position

The Parts Supervisor leads branch parts, purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations to support efficient service delivery and branch performance. This role ensures technicians have the parts and resources needed to complete scheduled service calls and emergency repairs while maintaining inventory accuracy, controlling costs, and supporting productivity and profitability. The position partners with technicians, dispatch, branch leadership, vendors, manufacturers, and customers to improve parts availability, operational efficiency, safety, and customer service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in parts, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, service operations, or related experience
  • Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with technicians, vendors, customers, and leadership.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company safety standards.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial kitchen equipment, food service, HVAC, refrigeration, or other service-industry experience a plus
  • Forklift certified preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all parts operations for branch, including purchasing, inventory control, replenishment, returns, and parts availability.
  • Source and order parts for commercial cooking, refrigeration, and foodservice equipment to support scheduled and emergency service calls.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, reconciliations, replenishment, and inventory management practices.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, staging, transfers, and organization.
  • Partner with technicians and dispatch to ensure required parts are available and technicians are properly prepared for service calls.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support competitive pricing, product availability, timely deliveries, warranty processing, and returns.
  • Support direct parts sales and identify opportunities to grow parts-related revenue.
  • Maintain accountability and appropriate controls over equipment, vehicles, and other company assets
  • Lead branch team in prioritizing workplace safety, reinforcing compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Partner with branch and regional leadership to improve operational efficiency, inventory management, and overall branch performance.
