About The Position

The Parts Supervisor coordinates the day-to-day parts business at the local level and directly supervises the parts support team. This is a hands-on working supervisor role focused on delivering a hassle-free experience for customers, including the service department, and consistently applying company-wide processes and procedures. The supervisor works with the Parts Manager and Operations Manager to achieve business objectives, as measured by key performance indicators, by improving the skills, professionalism, and efficiency of the parts operation.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Good organization, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good customer communication skills.
• Ability to provide day-to-day leadership and meet customer needs and expectations with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to communicate across functional groups and geographical locations.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of previous parts experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Equipment Depot vision and mission within the team and serve as a positive role model.
• Treat others with respect and foster a positive team attitude and sense of urgency to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure parts key performance indicators for efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
• Handle personnel disciplinary issues when they arise.
• Work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans, objectives, and goals for each location.
• Handle customer requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Complete performance reviews for team members as required.
• Assist with recruiting and developing the parts organization.
• Provide day-to-day leadership for the parts team and meet customer needs and expectations with urgency.
• Communicate across functional groups and geographical locations in support of the One Equipment Depot approach.
